Sweden – Thursday 20th to Wednesday 26th August 2026

Join us for a 7 seven day tour of Sweden where the Swedish Air Force will be holding their 100th anniversary air show at Linköping/Malmen. This base has not held an open day since 2016 and the Jubilee Flight Days will give a chance to see the past and present of the Swedish Air Force. It is expected that the Swedish Air Force Historical Flight will be there in force with the Viggen, Lansen, Tunnan, Hunter, Safir & Draken .

After landing at Stockholm/Arlanda during Thursday 20th, we will overnight nearby to enable some airliner time. Friday 21st will be spent around Stockholm and on Saturday 22nd, we make our way down to Linköping/Malmen to visit the Flygvapenmuseum Malmslätt. Early start on Sunday 21st back to Linköping/Malmen to avoid the inevitable crowds, staying there all day to watch what will hopefully be a fabulous flying display.

On the remaining days, we will take in airfields and wrecks & relics that are within reach and if time allows. Other museums to be visited are Tekniska Musee (Stockholm), F13 Kamratförening (Norrköping), Robothistoriska Föreningen (Arboga), Aeroseum (Göteborg-Säve), Svedinos Bil & Flygmuseum (Ugglarp), Värngårdens flygsamling (Vallarum), Simrishamn Museum (Simrishamn), Stenbäcks Flygmuseum (Skurup). We finish at Copenhagen Airport and return back to London or Manchester in the evening.

Tour cost is £800 which covers flights from LHR or STN, six nights accommodation, ground transport & fuel. £80 extra to fly from MAN. Not included is food or museum entrance fees.
