After the celebrations and fireworks of Australia Day today has also been a Public Holiday. Today has also been the hottest day since I arrived. Temperatures by 11am were nudging 40c.

So an early visit to the beach at 7am (still 34c then) before heading out to the Airport for the returning QFA10 from LHR.

From the airport I headed back to Cottesloe for some lunch in a beach side Bistro before heading into the City for a couple of Fringe shows.

Perth Fringe is 2nd only in the world to Edinburgh. There is a huge variety of entertainment on offer from Dancers to Acrobats to Comedians and Drag Queens. There should be something for everyone. There are also lots of street shows and dancers and this year with it coinciding with Chinese New Year Northbridge has been ablaze with Chinese Dragons and Dancers.

Tomorrow I will make another trip to Jandakot as still chasing some RFDS PC12 ‘s!!!
