Lower Arncott, Long Crendon & Halton – Monday 14th October 2019 (Grant Robinson)

Hi all,

I’ve seen reports that the Tornado GR.1T ZA319 on display at H Site, MoD Bicester, Lower Arncott, might be removed from display and so as I was passing today, I thought that I would check to see if it was still there. It was and as it wasn’t really photography weather today, an older photo taken by me in sunnier conditions can be seen at:

Also seen at Thame Mead Farm, Long Crendon on the outskirts of Thame in Oxfordshire was;

XW432/76/MX British Aircraft Corporation Jet Provost T.5A

This aircraft is easily seen on your left as you travel on the B4011 from Thame to Long Crendon.

My older photographs from a previous visit can be seen via Flickr link;

And lastly, a quick drive pass by RAF Halton and the old 1 SoTT workshop area saw this sat outside.

XF527, Hawker Hunter F.6, Gate Guard, Royal Air Force (S4/U/3373)
