An excellent visit, where a number of us from around the country and abroad met up to catch up with a couple of new inmates. In fact, three of the group had never been here.
One eagle eyed volunteer, Dave, came over and asked whether we wanted to see the stored items, the answer was of course yes please. One condition, our photographs of those items were to remain private, not a problem.
As you can see from the list below, 32 exhibits are on display in the main hangar, with plenty of volunteers around to discuss the ongoing projects and future plans for the museum.
Well worth the £7 for adults and £5 for concessions.
You could spend a good few hours getting close to the aircraft and chatting with the volunteers, however we had another airfield appointment, so we had to move on.
