This is my last full day report before flying home. I have enjoyed being back on the road again although the documentation and testing has been a little frustrating at times. However, all now completed and all the documents uploaded allowing me to check in and get my boarding pass for tomorrow mornings flight home.
The afternoon has been quite entertaining because of a building fire between the hotel and the airport next to the Motorway that runs along the Western end of the field. Departures were continuing with a sharp 90 degree right turn at about 500ft. Certainly some interesting turns from the heavy afternoon UAE A388s on departure from 30L.
I leave here with Emirates fleeted but sadly missing FDB A6-FMV B738MAX which was delivered to AMM on 21st November but has still not made it here.
I should make mention that all the Rooms I have stayed in have only a single double bed. 702 next door here has 2 beds as I saw them whilst the cleaner was there yesterday. 705 next door the other side is a suite but can sleep up to 4!
Restaurants are all open here although with Social distancing operating at reduced capacity. All the Hotels I have been to offer an all you can eat buffet for around 55AED each evening which has been of good quality although with a Middle East and Asia leaning menu.
I hope the logs have been of use. I will send a short log of anything seen here tomorrow together with anything of interest noted on my arrival at LHR.
