Aalborg & Denmark –Friday 11th to Sunday 13th September 2026

Join us for a weekend trip to Denmark where the Royal Danish Air Force will be holding their Danish Air Show at Aalborg. This base has not held an open day since 2018 and indeed one was planned for both 2024 & 2025, but were cancelled for operational reasons. This show should give a chance to see serving types AS.550, C-130J, CL604, EH.101, MH-60R, MQ-9, T-17, the recently delivered F-35s, and hopefully take in a great flying display.

After landing at Billund Airport during the evening of Friday 11th, we will overnight nearby. Early start on Saturday 12th, to get to Stauning (Dansk Veteran Flysamling Museum), Aalborg (Defence And Garrison Museum) & Hjallerup (Hjallerup Mekaniske Museum).

Sunday 13th will see us get to Aalborg early to try and avoid the inevitable crowds. We will stay there for the majority of the flying display or until we are all happy to leave. On both days, we will take in airfields and wrecks & relics that are within reach and if time allows. We finish at Billund Airport and return back to Heathrow in the evening.

Tour cost is £350 which covers flights from LHR, two nights accommodation, ground transport & fuel. Manchester not really an option for this one. Not included is food or museum entrance fees. Airshow entry is free. All prices are subject to change until confirmation has been received by the traveller.
