Tuusala (Ilmatorjuntamuseo) – Tuesday 19th June 2018 (John Tomlinson)

After the city centre MiG was checked out and a great tour of GA field of Malmi, it was off to the countryside to Tuusula~Etela and the Anti-Aircraft Museum.
We had arrange to meet up with a guide, however we were surprise to find out that whilst the website stated free admission, it was actually 10 Euro’s. A bit steep we thought!

However as she had a small interested group wanting to view the one item, she agreed a price of 5 Euros each and we had a bonus…
We understood that there was only one exhibit in the museum, however the English speaking guide was keen to also show us the MiG-3 and the museum was indeed very interesting from many other aspects of recent warfare, with tanks, various missiles and other equipment. She was very interesting and helpful, plus she spoke very good English

Regards
John
