Steventon – Sunday 11th May 2025 (Grant Robinson)

Hi all,

Gill, Jet and I attended a lovely, local event which has been celebrating VE 80 for the last four days. A lot of credit must go to whoever managed to pull all this lot together and I believe that Aces High Gallery had a big hand in it – https://www.aces-high.com/

You can see via the link below, what had been planned for this small village, just South of Abingdon. The Hurricane, Spitfire and Dakota all turned up as promised, meaning that I have finally seen active aircraft at this small airstrip which is just 4 miles from my house.
