Independence Day Celebrations in Israel means that many military bases open the doors, Ramat David was no exception.

As a non Israeli, we had to stay together as a group and be introduced to security by our Israeli guide. Once security had checked our bags and camera’s, we were in the base and ready to enjoy the show.

The reason for the short stay was to enjoy the static exhibits, as well as the preserved aircraft around the field and finally the flypast, which was to take place around 1130hrs.

We would then move towards the second base nearby, Haifa and hopefully view the static and preserved aircraft here. However it did not quite work out as planned.

Anyway, below is the list of aircraft noted in order as photographed. Hopefully members of the group can confirm the few General Dynamics F-16 which were in open hangars and I could not identify.
