Hi all,
There was a problem for some of our group in not being able to access the Conservatoire de l’Air et de l’Espace d’Aquitaine due to permission to visit being refused by the military. Our guide tried to get around this but this was compounded by the actions of some “British idiots” – Guides words, not mine. Apparently the last people let around before us, were rude to the guide and military staff and refused to pay.
My group were on their best behaviour and enjoyed a very thorough and informative tour around all the aircraft hidden from view within the base hangar. We engaged with our guide and hosts in the hangar and all paid our way as it should be and hopefully we left a better impression than the people before us……
