Ulitsa Sovetskoi Armii, Moscow (Central Museum of the Armed Forces) – Thursday 24th August 2017 (John Tomlinson)

Next was an other excellent museum in the centre of Moscow named the Central Museum of the Armed Forces at Sovetskoi Armii Street.
The collection includes the Lockheed U-2 C ‘Dragon Lady’ in which Gary Powers was shot down on the 1st May 1960.
In one of the main rooms, it also has an impressive central display with a German Eagle from a building, which is then surrounded by German regimental flags and a vast amount of Iron Cross medals.
