This is when I first see them approach over Sokol. The large white building is the Aerostar Hotel and the old buildings at the forefront are the old MiG factory which contains a few preserved aircraft that no one has even seen.

The bases the flypast come from are Kubinka, Tver, Shaikovka, Engels, Ivanovo, Ryazan, Zhukovsky and one other I cannot remember (probably either the Su-24’s or MiG31’s) however the helicopters all take off from Khubinka as do the Russian Knights, Strizi, MiG29’s and Su25’s.
