Kidlington – Wednesday 28th November 2018 (Grant Robinson)

Hi all,

two quick afternoon visits;

First one around 14:45, found two Army Air Apaches on the ground being refuelled. They avoided identification due to rain so the request is for either of these please.

(ZJ210), Westland Apache AH.1, 656 Sqn, Army Air Corps (DU044/WAH.44)
D-CNOC, Cessna Citation Excel (560-5814)
G-LXWD, Cessna Citation Excel (560-5760)
G-OOTT, Aerospatiale Squirrel / Fennec AS.350 B3 (3953)
G-PAOL, Cessna Citation CJ3 (525B0232)
G-POLF, Eurocopter EC135 T2+ (0267)
G-PSNR, Eurocopter EC145 / H145 C-2 (EC145) (9488)
G-TBUC, Eurocopter EC155 B1 (7020)
PT-TRJ, Dassault Falcon 2000S (712)

Later on ADSB Exchange, I saw that one Apaches had departed and was showing as ZJ210 with callsign Viper 1. Whilst looking at that, I noticed a French TBM-700 was inbound………

Another pass at 16:00 confirmed that the two Apaches had gone and that the French Air Force TBM-700 was parked up. I was unable to stop unfortunately….the French Falcon was reported as departing by somebody else later on.

(110/XP), SOCATA TBM-700A, ET 00.041, French Air Force (110)
VQ-BHA, Dassault Falcon 7X (84)
