Coventry – Wednesday 12th June 2019 (John Tomlinson)

Next stop was going to be Coventry~Warks, which was the main target for the day.

The L3 CTS Airline and Academy Training aircraft were of interest, plus we wanted to view the American registered DC-3C-47A which is being worked on.

In addition, we were hoping to view two items in the Midland Air Museum. We had written to them, but had received no reply. We subsequently found out that the person who deals with the emails was on holiday for a week! Ones for another day.

Anyway a successful visit was made.

Two requests are as follows:
Both aircraft were in the L3 CTS Airline and Academy Training hangar:
1: The third aircraft in the extreme right of the hangar: https://www.flickr.com/photos/jlt_egcc74/48050983882/in/album-72157709053488846/
To the left of this one were 9M-NRF and 9M-NRG

2: The aircraft in the left hand corner of the hangar: https://www.flickr.com/photos/jlt_egcc74/48050944378/in/album-72157709053488846/
Above it is a card with G-CTSV, which is the same colours, but of course means nothing. FR24 suggests that the aircraft has not been flown for quite some time.

Any help appreciated

Regards

John
